Saturday the 29th brought a couple of difficult teams from the Flathead to Libby. The U12 team played very well against two much stronger teams from Kalispell. Both games went down in defeat with Rapids losing 2-6 against Force White and 1-6 against Force Green.

Saturday April 22nd the Rapids U12 team lost both games. In the morning game the Rapids came back on very good Flathead Rapids team in the second half to within 2, 4-2, only to lose 6-2 in the end. Their second game, although close at half time 1-2, they could not overcome the Missoula Strikers in the end. The Rapids lost 2-6.

On Saturday April 15th, The Kootenai Rapids U12 team traveled to Missoula to match up against the Blitz and Ravalli United. The Blitz came out strong to take a 1-0 lead for most of the match against the Rapids. In the waning minutes of the second half the Rapids team was able to equal the score and force a draw. Their second match again began with a strong showing from the Rapid's players creating and holding on to a 1-0 lead going into the middle of the second half. Their play held out only to have a couple of unfortunate events leave them with a 1-2 loss. The U12 team travels to Kalispell April, 22nd to take on a Kalispell and Missoula team.

The Kootenai Rapids U 12 Coed team began its season in Stevensville April 8th. Beginning with the season opener against a strong Missoula Striker team, the Rapids came out on top with a 3-2 victory with only Minutes left in the second half.  Their 2nd match was not so fortunate though. The kids came out slow and found themselves down 1 just minutes into the game. Although they regained some momentum they were unable to topple the home team Stevensville Sabres and ended with a 0-3 loss.
